Terms of Service

Effective 18 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and LabSpace for using www.labspaces.in and the LabSpace apps. By creating an account or using LabSpace, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

Your account

• Give accurate details, keep your password private, and tell us if you think your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Lab admins decide who joins their lab.

Your content

Your data and research remain yours. You give LabSpace permission to store, process and show your content as needed to run the service for you and the people you share it with, and to use labs' procurement records as described under MarketSpace below. Content you put in a lab's shared space can be seen and used by that lab's members.

Acceptable use

Don't use LabSpace to break the law, upload malware, try to access other people's accounts or data, overload or attack the service, or post content that is abusive, infringing or unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.

MarketSpace

• Products on MarketSpace are listed and sold by independent vendors, not by LabSpace. Vendors are responsible for their listings, prices, stock, quality, safety documents, delivery and invoices.
• Placing an order sends it to the vendor; no payment is taken in LabSpace. You and the vendor arrange payment, delivery and any returns directly, following your institution's purchasing rules.
• Hazardous chemicals and gases must be ordered, transported, stored and used in line with the law and your institution's safety rules.
• Lab procurement records. Vendors recorded in a lab's shared procurement (C-Form) book, their business contact details and the lab's purchase totals and dates are compiled by LabSpace into a vendor directory used to build MarketSpace and to contact those vendors, as described in the Privacy Policy. Personal workspaces are not used. Enter only accurate business details that you are entitled to record, and follow your institution's rules on sharing procurement information.

Availability and changes

We work to keep LabSpace available and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is", without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of anything critical. We may change or improve features over time.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, LabSpace is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or profits, arising from using the service or from dealings with vendors.

Ending

You can stop using LabSpace and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
